Over the past few months, together with Ximena Duque, Diana Porto, Diana Guerrero, and the Fedesoft and Cenisoft teams, we started with a simple question: how do we help Colombian companies move beyond talking about AI and begin using it meaningfully across their teams, processes, products, and business models?
Fedesoft and Cenisoft have built trusted relationships with Colombia's software sector over many years, supporting companies that are now an essential part of the country's technology ecosystem. At Torrenegra & Co, we bring experience building global technology companies, operating in highly competitive markets, and connecting lessons from San Francisco with the specific challenges companies face across Latin America.
The opportunity is significant, and so is the urgency. Many organizations are already experimenting with AI, but most efforts remain isolated: individuals use tools on their own and teams run pilots, yet few companies have turned that curiosity into internal capabilities, operational efficiency, better products, or new sources of growth.
